Dancing on Crosses
This work was recently exhibited at the George Crossan Gallery in Guernsey.
The sea curtained by a coastline
Of trembling desires
A dove - Paloma the prophetess of possibilities
Flying impossibly high
Greeting carpets of joy
As they ascend to multiply
Beyond the clouds.
Ragged beauty gathers in shredded shapes
Etched and debrided
By the crests of mountains
The lowland abstracted
By greens and blues
Of contrasting hues
Shaped like barely shrouded secrets
Meditate on the solitary cave
Its memories only to emerge
In the surreal contours
Of future dreams.
